Christina Almanza, Suisun City Teen, Allegedly Faked Her Own Kidnapping For Family Sympathy

Napa, CA Patch:

Christina Almanza, the Suisun City teen who launched law enforcement on a two-day hunt in fear that she had been abducted last week, admitted she made the story up to get sympathy from her family, police said Monday evening.

She was arrested for making a false police report, issued a notice to appear in court and released to her parents. During the investigation two other unidentified subjects that had been detained for questioning by police were released.
